Brick Tamland is the weatherman in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. He is one of the main characters of the series and is portrayed by Steve Carell.

Appearance

Brick is a nerdy-looking short, broad guy in his forties, with dark hair in a side-part, and 1970s-style glasses and clothing. Loud noises!

Personality

Brick Tamland is a simple-minded, kind person, who occasionally has fits of rage, like when he speared someone with a trident in the first movie. He is socially awkward and doesn't have many friends, but his coworkers include him in their adventures. Doctors claim that Brick has an I.Q. of 48 and is what some people call: "Mentally Retarded". He is a loveable character.

Brick is Ron's friend and the weatherman for the KVWN news team Brick appears to say irrelevant information, although has a good heart, he appears to be devoted but lacks intelligence having an I.Q. of 48 making him intellectually disabled. 

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues 

Years after the first film it is believed that Brick is dead but he suddenly reappears at his own funeral. He agrees to go with Ron and the rest of the guys to New York. He soon meets an equally strange woman who also works for GNN, named Chani. He instantly falls in love with her and they marry during the final scene of the movie.
